Every month I am trying to cook one new dish. that I never tired before. Tonight for dinner it’s
Turkey Wraps ! it wasn’t even chicken i thought it was when i bought i, cause the label says breast on it so you just assume its chicken but it came out pretty damn good.
12 ounces cooked chicken breast halves or turkey breast
2/3 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
1/4 cup finely or close to finely cut green pepper (bell pepper)
2 to 8 (8″) flour tortillas or
1 cup salsa
I always love having Quesadillas when I go out at a restaurant or sports bar, but with having a new apartment and all I figure I might as well get more involved in the kitchen since going out for dinner and ordering take-out adds up to be kinda expensive. Of Course I will have my dine-out and take-out every once in a while, but I am making more and more of an effort to get into the kitchen and fire up that burner.
I am not able to make quesadillas because I don’t have a peanne press, but that is on my registry for my house warming party. but let tell you , I cut up the green pepper fine it almost took forever next time I am buying a magic bullet. I had my turkey precooked, I can’t believe I bought turkey I swear it was chicken I guess I only saw the breast part on the label. and I got Kraft monterey jack cheese, and the master choice salsa mild flavor, I preheated my skillet and I mixed together the turkey and salsa together toss the green pepper - sometimes I add in onions, chicken lol I mean turkey in the skillet and I cooked for about 5 minutes on medium high.
When you fill the warp you need to make sure you use a little I went a little over board on filling it up. then I put the cheese on top, and then I fold in and fold over … lol I poured myself a glass of milk and I had a wonderful dinner.
